Take

  1. Eggs (Yolk)
  2. Spinach
  3. Milk
  4. green leafy vegetables

Avoid

  1. tea
  2. coffee
  3. cigarettes
  4. alochol

Certain nutrients, such as vitamin C, help to boost the potency of the iron by enhancing its absorption. So also add various fruits rich in vitamin C like guava, pome, orange, bananas, black grapes, plums, and strawberries.

Consume leafy vegetables, like spinach, carrots, radish, tomatoes.

Other food are cereals, wheat germ, soyabeans and potato. It is recommended that you eat five times a day, three meals and two snacks, with 40 percent of calories from carbohydrates, 30 percent from protein, and 30 percent from unsaturated fats. This can include: three fourths vegetables and one part cereals. Cooking may destroy iron content by as much as half. Potato peels may be dried and toasted in order to make them an interesting snack.

Folate is commonly present in  spinach, cabbage, yeast, nuts and fruits. Vitamin B12 is exclusively present in foods of animal origin. Eggs, dairy products contain adequate amount of the vitamin B12. Vegetable sources do not contain vitamin B12.
